The first time we had the pleasure of building up this beauty, a classic 1984 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler, the owner was looking for sustainable power, high performance and originality.
We dropped in a pristine new GM LS3 430 horsepower engine. We mated the engine with a brand new GM6L80 6 speed automatic transmission. We then added the heavy duty Currie RockJock 60 rear axle for excellent ground clearance, custom fitted high accuracy Speedhut gauges, and a specially engineered Hydroboost brake system. The owner was really happy with the modifications and within months decided to ship the Scrambler back to us for a major off-frame restoration.
